Tonight's X-Factor results show
Nov. 15th, 2009 10:34 pmOK, so lots of people were out to get Simon for his machinations last week, so one of his acts was almost certain to get the chop this week, but why-oh-why did Jamie have to be the sacrificial lamb???!!!! For me, he was far and away the best of the over-25s, and he totally outsang Lloyd in the sing-off. Drat Louis and his "the one with the most potential" - he means the one who looks the most like a boy-band member [grumble, grumble]
Simon has just GOT to sign Jamie!!!
Well, at least I'm no longer torn about who I want to win - it's Jedward all the way for me! (not from any ulterior motives; I like them as much as I like Jamie, though obviously for very different reasons ;) )
And another bugbear of mine is all the people saying John and Edward are tone-deaf. They're not - I've HEARD tone-deaf people and there's no way the twins are! They may be a bit lazy when it comes to listening to themselves, not to mention that bouncing all over the stage while singing live is very difficult - I'm betting that a lot of non-theatrical singer/dancers lip-sync when they're dancing.
Anyway - end of rant, at least till next week :)
